Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
From concept to implementation Graymatters were responsible for bringing life and a sense of drama to the Globe’s retail offer. We also oversaw the design and planning of a successful new e-commerce site. Both shop and site are experiencing healthy increases in takings.
In addition, Graymatters have created an in-house record label (Globe Editions) with international distribution, for the world-renowned theatre and have produced their first release, ‘Elizabethan Street Songs,’ which is on sale now.
Graymatters are heavily involved with launch, marketing and promotion of the label and album.

Graymatters were instrumental in the total re-branding of the company; creating a contemporary bold style, positioning the company as the Suffolk Heritage Coast’s premier agent.

Graymatters gave strategic and creative marketing advice to the UK’s most innovative supplier of retail merchandising equipment.
RED’s customer base includes: UK libraries, The BBC, Urban Outfitters, Foyle’s, Gamestation, Universal and others.
Graymatters investigated and successfully found alternative markets, and suggested new product lines for the company. Specifically, the design and fabrication of contemporary furniture for schools and universities. In addition, Graymatters looked at RED’s advertising strategy and costs, consequently making significant savings and improving their marketing efficiency.

Golden Discs – Ireland
Golden Discs are Ireland’s largest independently owned music retailer with 24 branches and part of the Irish music landscape for nearly 50 years. Graymatters were asked to look at how the chain could increase its share of highly lucrative third party marketing activity.
Graymatters recommended creating a ‘joint-marketing’ rate card for distribution to all the major record companies and synergistic brands; not only driving profit, but enhancing and increasing the awareness of Golden Discs offer to new and existing markets.
Graymatters constructed a marketing programme which has been successfully adopted by the company.
